Discover the value of a Digest Edition

Healthcare professionals need up-to-date information fast to support their clinical decisions, but language barriers can slow down access to global research. Digest Editions help you close knowledge gaps by facilitating HCPs’ access to the latest research and supporting their education and development needs with relevant and engaging content in their local language. And since there are three or four issues a year, you can use the Digital Edition to open doors during regular visits to target HCPs.

When you sponsor a Digest Edition, you build the visibility of your brand among decision makers in local markets. Once you’ve engaged key opinion leaders (KOLs), you can establish collaborations and build relationships, enabling you to bring local experts onto editorial boards.

Your Digest Edition

You can support local HCPs with a series of print or digital Digest Editions that feature three or more articles published in a single journal in the last 12 months, all translated into the local language of your choice. Digest Editions are more than a one-off publication: we recommend publishing at least three Digest Editions per year.

As the sponsor, you define the therapy area and often select a target society journal. We work with the society to appoint a local Editor-in-Chief and editorial board. Several KOLs often organize this board and next-generation KOLs.

The editorial board selects articles for the Digest Edition. They can consider your suggested themes, but sponsors cannot select articles to be included in the Digest Editions. We then manage the translation of the articles in your Digest Editions, with quality supervision by the local editorial board.

At an additional cost, you can also invite the Editor-in-Chief of the Digest Edition or the editor of the original journal as a guest to hold a roundtable discussion or online seminar with local editorial board members. These discussions, which could be on the journal’s aims and scope or how to write and submit a good paper, can be summarized and included in one of the Digest Editions. They help give your audience learning opportunities and generate new touchpoints for your sales representatives.
